Remember that there are no boundaries borders to limit limiting either these operations or the contacts made through the cyber space. This environment has become appropriate proper to the appearing arise and growth of the so-called cyber crimes, due to, mainly, to the anonymity of its users, the facility to use the network and its connection with all the world.
Therefore This way, to so that the combat to these crimes effectively and efficiently can be effective and also efficient, mainly when they happen or affect several countries, it is necessary to have a mechanism of international cooperation formed by institutions, which are organized and structuralized to accomplish this goal aim. Besides that, it is necessary to foment the research and development in the scope of Computer Science Forensics scope.
This year the ICCyber will be take place in November 6 to 8, 2006 in the Blue Tree Brasilia, Brasilia/DF and will be carried through with the "First International Conference on forensic Computer Science (ICoFCS 2006)". The ICoFCS is a specialized scientific event created with the aim of comprising specifically the scientific questions issues of criminal forensics, having as a main goal the stimulation of to incentive the scientific community to direct focus its activities to the researches for to the Forensic Computer Science.
All the contents of the event will have graphical translation in Portuguese, English and Spanish there will also be simultaneous translation available for all the participants in the conference.
The lecturers can will be able to give their lectures in any of these languages as well. All the works presented in the Conference will be published in annals the proceedings of the conference.
Around 4/5 of the articles presented will also be published in the scientific magazine “The International Journal of Forensic Computer Science (IJoFCS)”.
