The ABEAT – Brazilian High Technology Specialists Association is glad to present the VII International Conference on Cyber Crime Investigation– ICCyber 2010.
This mega event has supported and technical collaboration by Brazilian Federal Police, through the Computer Forensic Unit of the Technical and Scientific Directorate.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation - FBI / US are key supporters and collaborators, both in content and format of the institutional support and the invitation of other agencies and international polices.
The ICCyber is one of the most important events in computer technology and forensics existing in Latin America, with a full agenda of technical-scientific lectures, as well as a structured programme by Federal Criminal Experts in the field of informatics, of reknowned experts and consultants, academics from various national and international universities, executives from major technology-based corporations, and institutions representing Brazil and international civil society.
In 2010, the event will occur simultaneously with the V International Conference of Forensic Computer Science (ICoFCS 2010), consisting of presentations of technical-scientific submitted by speakers and previously selected by a Technical Evaluation Committee, and the IV International Conference of Training and Exhibition in Brasilia Chapter HTCIA (IBTCE 2010).
In 2010, are expected more than 500 participants from various parts of Brazil and abroad, whom shall exploit the possibility of scientific and technical exchanges between forensic experts and other professionals involved in related activities, such as researchers, computer scientists and lawyers active in this area. The ICCyer is a major international open event to participants from all over the world whose participation is subject only to prior analysis by the Organizing Committee.
Besides all the possibilities of relationship, the Conference is also considered a tool of encouragement of scientific research and development through the effective participation of forensic experts and others Brazilian and International law enforcement officers, as well as technicians and representatives of society, promoting a closer approach amongst computing communities, justice and forensic society that have their focus on combating cyber crimes.
The need to strengthen ties with international organizations, as well as the international scientific community of those related areas, was a major motivating factor of this initiative. The goal is to implement a special flexible system of cooperation to combat cyber crimes, especially those that have effects in several countries.
In 2010, the VII International Conference on Cyber Crime Investigation (ICCyber 2010) will take place in the city of Brasilia (DF) from September the 13th to 17th.
All participants may access the translated graphic of the schedule content in Portuguese and English; there will also be simultaneous translation of lectures, available to delegates. The speakers will deliver their lectures in any of these languages. In addition, all presentations that occur during the conference will be published in the Annals of ICCyber 2010, when previously authorized by the speakers.
In addition to the lectures there will also be related activities and entertainment, with cocktails and coffee breaks, special opportunities for exchanging information and knowledge among the participants.
The ICCyber is a unique international conference on computer skills. It´s where The Brazilian Federal Police brings together professionals in technology, computer forensics, police and researchers from all over the world. The 2010 edition will include three main events:

Além de sessões técnicas com a apresentação de artigos, a Conferência oferece, também, seminários, treinamentos, apresentações comerciais e exibições.
Em 2010 a VII Conferência Internacional de Perícias em Crimes Cibernéticos (ICCyber), tem por objetivo apresentar e discutir novas técnicas, ferramentas, pesquisas e desenvolvimentos na perícia, combate e investigação aos crimes cibernéticos.
Além disso, o evento tem as seguintes metas:
